After being sick for a month and a half and many visits to the pediatrician, we brought Wyatt in to Children's Hospital Emergency Department on Saturday, November 27th, 2010.
Wyatt had a CT scan to confirm that his irritability, strange pupils and distorted vision were caused by a buildup of fluid as a result of a mass blocking the spinal fluid drainage from his brain.

Wyatt completed a year and a half of chemotherapy with Carboplatin and Vincristine to treat a hypothalamic glioma, an inoperable, slow growing brain tumor. This type of tumor is also known as a pilomyxoid astrocytoma (it was originally misdiagnosed as a pilocytic astrocytoma). 4 months after his final treatment, his tumor had grown again.
